From the Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to our wonderful community for attending our Landsdale Primary School Learning Journey on Wednesday! It was so fantastic to see our families in classrooms being able to engage in the incredible learning experiences offered at LPS. This really is such an important community engagement event for our school each year and a highlight for our staff, students and community.
The level of student engagement, visible through their displayed work experiences and examples, was outstanding. I know our families thoroughly enjoyed their child/children's classrooms but also being able to be immersed in our specialist subjects of Visual Arts, Music, Italian, Physical Education and Science which shows the diverse learning happening catering to different student interests and abilities.
Our classroom teachers showcased learning experiences across a multitude of WA Curriculum subjects which included highly differentiated learning for all our students. Clearly visible in all classrooms was the pride our students have in the learning that takes place in their classrooms. Their smiles, discussions and high level of excitement was magical to see and a testament to all our staff at Landsdale Primary School.
This week is also Education Assistant Appreciation Week! In a week where we are showcasing learning, it is highly important to thank our talented Education Assistants at our school. Their support of our students, as well as our teachers, cannot be measured and their positive influence shines through our school. I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank our Education Assistants for all they do for our school. We would not have the wonderful culture we have without their dedication, kindness, connection, care and skill-sets.
I look forward to our last 2 week of Term 3 with our staff, students and community. It has been a fabulous term with so many memorable moments our students will remember for many, many years to come!
Kindest regards,
Kerryn Woodhouse
Principal

Request from Lynn the Crosswalk Attendant
Our crosswalk attendant on Southmead, Lyn, will be on holidays on 6th, 9th-11th September inclusive. Lyn has concerns with some dangerous behaviour she has witnessed during student drop off and pick up times recently. In particular she would like to remind people the following:
Please:
- don’t speed in the school drop off zones
- don’t do illegal turns
- don’t stop at the crosswalk to let your children out of the car, use the designated “Kiss n Drive” area instead
Attached is the Roadwise Kiss n Drive flyer for more information. Also attached is a brochure on school parking from the City of Wanneroo.

Supporting Our Students
We know that life gets busy, and sometimes, lunchboxes get forgotten. At Bush Blues Cafe, we believe that no child should go hungry, and we’re here to ensure every student has access to lunch. If your child has received a lunch from us, you may have received a receipt sent home. As we approach the end of the term, we kindly ask that all outstanding accounts and any forgotten lunch receipts be settled.
